About us

Ingrid Siebenaler (now Taskin) was born and raised in central Germany close to Frankfurt, where she grew up with ponies and horses until she moved to the United States in 1975.

Ingrid had her first pony at age 6, and this pony is really what started her passion for horses.  By age 10, she bought a pony stallion and had her first filly at age 11.

In Germany, she was a member of one of the local riding clubs where she received more formal training in driving, vaulting and English riding, specifically dressage and jumping.  She competed, along with her peers, at the regional horse shows.

Ingrid owned a Hannoveranian Gelding named “Hannes” for a number of years.  This is the horse on which she trained and advanced her riding and showmanship skills; all this under the watchful eye of their club trainer, Mr. Zimmermann.

After moving to the United States, Ingrid lost contact with the equestrian community.  She went to College at the University of Connecticut and started a working career and a family.  That is, until she leased a hunter pony for her youngest daughter in 2001, to keep her active and learn more about taking care of animals and the responsibilities that reside with owning animals.  At that point, things turned very quickly and she became fully involved with horses again.  Your love for horses just never goes away.

Ingrid and her two daughters, Anna and Rebecca, purchased Red Fences Farm in Loxahatchee in February 2005.  This is the place they keep their horses at and run a professional boarding facility for other members of the equestrian community.

The combination of Ingrid’s business background  and her organization skills allows her to run the property very efficiently and smoothly, and her knowledge of horses and passion for horses gets passed on and translates into quality care for the horses on her property.

They take great pride in their equestrian property, and have daily hands-on involvement in the care of the horses.  While Becky and Ingrid at this point ride for pleasure only, Anna competes with her same hunter pony in the local horse shows.

Ingrid is currently enrolled in an official educational program certifying her as a riding instructor in the United States.
